Nitrogen: Essential for Plant Growth

Nitrogen is a vital element to plant growth, since it is a major component of Chlorophyll, Energy Transfer Compounds, Amino Acids, and Nucleic Acids.  The molecules of Chlorophyll are essential to photosynthesis, whereby plants absorb sunlight and turn it into energy.  Energy Transfer Compounds assist in saving energy from metabolic processes and using that energy.  Amino Acids form the building blocks of proteins, which are the lifeblood of plants.  Nucleic Acids aid in cell reproduction and growth. With nitrogen mixed fertilizers, plants will be given the vital nutrients they need to be strong and healthy.

Nitrogen Increases the protein content in plants

Without a sufficient amount of Nitrogen, the plant is unable to fully utilize sunlight to carry out essential functions, leading to nutrient deficiency

Nitrogen moves easily through the soil, allowing for maximum absorption in the roots

Why Added Value Fertilizers

Added Value Fertilizers are a collection of specialized fertilizers that contain added components to their mix, making them more effective as compared to straight fertilizers. Various components can be added in, including slow and controlled-release elements that gradually releases nutrients to the crops to coincide with their needs.  Depending on the type of controlled release fertilizer, the nutrients being offered can vary as well as the environmental conditions that will stimulate the nutrient release time.

Our Product

We offer a controlled release Ammonium Nitrate that allows for a gradual release time that spans over the course of a season. This insures that the crops receive the right amount of nitrogen, since too much nitrogen leads to weakened cell walls in the plants while too little nitrogen prevents plant growth.  With just one use, the soil will be infused with the right balance of nutrients it needs for the entire season. This increases efficiency and helps to budget expenditures on nutrient replenishment.

Further, Ammonium Nitrate is less acidic than Urea and other Nitrogen based fertilizers, which decreases the overall acidification of agriculture fields. This enables the grower to use liberal quantities of this fertilizer and achieve better results as compared to Urea, Diammonium Phosphate, Ammonium Sulfate, and other highly acidic fertilizers.

This product is ideally utilized in crop production of corn, wheat, soybeans, and alfalfa.
